Govt. ANM Training Centre, Sundargarh is a government-run Nursing training institution committed preparing competent healthcare professionals in the field of Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery. Established 1963 under the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of Odisha, and the institution has been playing a vital role in strengthening community health services by producing nursing personnel.
Objectives of the institution:
To produce skilled community focused frontline health workers capable of providing primary health care, mental health support t and Child health services particularly in rural and underserved areas.
The most important objective is to prepare individuals to act as a vital link between the community and the formal health care system.
